This is NOT a Toy Computer - It is Mickey Mouse Aug 20, 2011

This original little computer with the very small (and harder to find) 8.9" screen comes with Windows XP and a lot of Disney applications. You think 16 GB isn't much? It's adequate for application installation. You can add a SD card for more file storage and for putting files onto your other PC.
OK, do you think that's Mickey Mouse? Well it is. But it's not difficult to tailor the system software into a usable ADULT portable computer. (Here is the trick: Simply turn off Easybits Parental Control.) If you have a CHILD (that's cool) this system software really would enable you to set it up safely with passwords (if you are a control type parent) for him or her as a limited user.
This Asus Netpal is very well built, it has a smoother than most finish to the case. The touchpad is very nicely integrated. Keyboard is very good and although it's small is very reliable. Bottom line is this is a Netbook, with a bit more capabilities than a regular netbook. Oh yes, it comes with MS Works too. It has a trial version of Office 2007 and Norton Anti-virus loaded too (but that's not a big deal unless you want to buy them). Consider instead Open Office, and Avast Anti-Virus as better suited for this PC.
The wireless is high speed, the screen is not glossy, built in speakers are adequate and the webcam, well, it makes me smile because its shaped like Mickey Mouse! (About that, don't worry it's discrete.)
Also, don't shy away from the refurbished PCs! They are functionally fine, cosmetically like new and and less costly.

My son is five and has had this computer for over a year, it has held up to drops, food, and five year old use. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. He loves his computer. The Disney desktop, is great, it keeps him safe on the internet. It and allows many parental controls to be put into place, time for use, and restricts his use to approved activities. I have bought a lot of junk for him in the last five years, but this is a outstanding example of a well made product, which we are very happy with. I would highly recommend this product.

First off let me start out by saying that I ordered this product on a Monday and received it on a Wednesday. I tried to order it before from another seller with less than acceptable results. Needless to say whom ever the seller of this product was shipped it to me and made sure that it was functional. I would always purchase from this seller. Seeing as though I am an impatient person I was pleased with the time frame in which I received this package
