I bought these in the store to fill in when we ran out of our regular cloth diapers on vacation. I planned to padfold them in covers. After one wash, they shrank and distorted so much that they were impossible to fold. They ended up really small, only a newborn could possibly wear one. They are extremely thin, even for flats and the corners frayed and ravelled after one wash. They aren't even useful as burp cloths.
