An OK diaper, but a better burp cloth Nov 21, 2011
By Alice Bright Compared to more expensive flats, there really is no comparison, but the Child of Mine diapers still can be useful. If you are on an extremely tight budget, they will work folded up and pinned, snapped or laid inside a cover, but you will find yourself changing them frequently because they are not terribly absorbent. I do feel they are a little better quality than the Gerber prefolds, however. These will shrink up a bit after you wash them.
I actually think they work the best for burp rags. My mother-in-law purchased a pack to embellish with embroidery, ribbons and decorative fabric. She gives them as gifts for burp cloths and they are perfect!
Great prefold for the $ Mar 13, 2012
By GardenSinger These are my "go to" prefolds. They're very absorbant and user-friendly. I use them for day trips and overnights. I don't have to worry about the Snappy teeth going through the fabric and scraping babys skin. Very nice.
Do the job well Mar 11, 2012
By Ms_Randalynn I ordered these with the intention of using them as burp cloths. They are super absorbent and work perfectly for their intended use. The reason for 4 stars is that they are starting to pile after only a dozen or 2 washings, and I intend to keep them for a long time! I was given another brand at my baby shower (I don't know the brand, but I plan to find out!) that still look brand new after the same number of washings.
Nice! Feb 17, 2012
By rkrichey I use these as burp cloths and really like them. I have some from babies r us and I prefer these. They are just about the same absorbancy but they wash so much better. I definitely want to order more.
