i got this toothbrush for my child who didn't like to brush the right amount of time. she loved it! i didn't have to ask her to keep brushing, she wanted to hear all the music. it is much cheaper to get them right from the hasbro website though. they are only selling them for 9.99 and the shipping is 5.00. amazon is pricing them way too high. recommend this for anyone!

Awsome!!!! Mar 06, 2007
I was never good at brushing my teeth and no matter how hard I tryed I could never brush for 2 min. every day. So I got this tooth brush just to give it a try and..... it works great!!! Now it's fun to brush my teeth!! the only draw back is the sound is not perfect but what do you expect it's a tooth brush! I personaly think you will be very happy with tooth brush.
Peace out
My five-year-old is now a Queen fan... and an oral hygiene fan! Aug 04, 2008

My son had a very specific request for his birthday this year: a toothbrush that plays "We Will Rock You" (he must've seen the commercial).
So I bought him this for his 5th - only $10 at my local Toys 'R' Us.
My son's never been good about brushing his teeth for more than 30 seconds at a time, so I had high hopes that the song would entice him to brush longer. The first couple of times, it didn't, but the third time was a charm!
The only complaint I have is that the sensor that causes the music to play is so sensitive, if you stop moving the toothbrush even a little, the sounds will stop. Not a big deal for me, but for a kid it's maddening! We've had a few tantrums over the music stopping. Also, my son figured out that, if he pressed the bristles against his teeth hard enough, he could generate the music.
Overall, this is a great gadget and I'd use one myself!
Disappointing May 17, 2007
By DJG My 10 yr. old son asked for this toothbrush, thinking it would be fun. I thought it might encourage him to brush longer. Turns out that the music doesn't always work, and we can't figure out why. And music isn't quite enough incentive to brush for 2 full minutes.

By Soccer mom Great idea, but does have it's problems. As with most "toys" the novelty wears off. The bigget problem is my child can get the music to play without actually brushing. He can just push the toothbrush down with pressure and not actually bursh his teeth to hear the music. He still won't brush to the end of the song!
